Vacuum Machine

When the traditional die-casting process is filling the mold, the melt enters the mold cavity in a jet flow state, and the gas and the melt are highly mixed. The cavity gas not only affects the intrinsic quality of the casting, but also restricts the improvement of the die-casting yield rate. Vacuum die-casting relies on the evacuation of the cavity gas, which is mainly completed during the slow injection and pre-filling process. The high dynamic response vacuum channel and evacuation efficiency are the key to ensuring that the melt is filled under a satisfactory vacuum degree.

FAQ

Q:What role does a vacuum machine play in die casting?
A:It quickly removes air and gases from the mold cavity before metal filling, reducing porosity and shrinkage, and improving casting density and mechanical properties.

A:Q:Is faster vacuuming always better?
No. The key to a vacuum pump is not its maximum pumping speed, but its ability to quickly and stably establish a cavity vacuum within the die-casting cycle, and to match it with the mold volume and structure.

Q:How to ensure stable vacuum performance during mass production?
A:Through multi-channel design and real-time cavity vacuum monitoring, consistent vacuum levels are ensured for each batch, avoiding quality fluctuations caused by piping or filter issues.

Q:Can a vacuum pump solve porosity problems long-term?
A:With proper selection and maintenance, a vacuum system can continuously reduce porosity and shrinkage, and effectively prevent bubbling during heat treatment.

Q:Do different molds require different models of vacuum pumps?
A:Yes. Different mold volumes, structural complexities, and product requirements necessitate different vacuum pump capacities and channel configurations, requiring targeted selection.
